W26-10. Hand cranked A.C. and D.C. Demonstration Dynamo Designed by Professors Miller and Cowan of the Boston schools. The unit can be series or shunt wound and external excitation can be used. The open frame construction clearly shows the circuit and mechanical operation. Hand cranking demonstrates output voltage versus speed. A fine example of American turn-of-the-century teaching technology. Mounted on a 13x9.5" wooden base, overall height 9".
